Partner GP
Introduction
I work 3 days a week as a GP partner. Some of my responsibilities include conducting a weekly ward round at our local care home, assisting with the teaching of our foundation doctors and running contraceptive clinics for the insertion of contraceptive implants and coils. I have worked at both South Tyneside and Sunderland hospitals after graduating and since qualifying as a GP, have mainly worked in the Gateshead area. I joined the practice in August 2011.

Qualifications
I qualified from Newcastle University in 2006 (MBBS) and have worked at Wrekenton Medical Group since 2011, becoming a partner in 2018. My medical interests are foundation doctor training and women’s health, including family planning and menopause.
