Practice Business Manager
Introduction
I oversee the running of the whole practice which includes, HR, Finance, Accounts, Customer relations, People management, IT, Estates management and then anything else that is thrown my way (I am not averse to cleaning up and have very basic DIY skills at the very last resort!) I am here to ensure the service we deliver to patients is the best it can be but also to ensure the well-being of staff is managed. I worked at a GP Surgery in Low Fell from June 2021 to October 2023 and before that, I worked for Urgent Care services (111, out of hours, UTCs) and covered the North East and North Yorkshire for 5 years. Before that, I was a Practice Manager for 10 years in Byker and even further back I worked in Central London for the Out of Hours GP services for 5 years.
I am also the Local Medical Committee (LMC) Management lead for all of Gateshead practices
